ST. LOUIS – A noise disturbance in St. Louis has left a Florissant man behind bars after he allegedly rode his ATV in the downtown area “like a playground,” according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD).
According to SLMPD, the incident happened on Sept. 28, where Mobile Reserve Officers and Anti-Crime Task Force detectives say they saw a man riding an ATV “dangerously.”
Police say the man, now identified as 41-year-old Marvin Coleman, was doing wheelies, weaving in and out of traffic and riding onto sidewalks.
“Officers attempted to stop this reckless behavior by conducting a traffic stop. Officers even used their loudspeaker to order the driver to pull over but he did not,” SLMPD wrote in the news release…
