Emergency drill to be held at Dow Chemical on Dale Avenue in Knoxville

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — If you notice police cars and fire trucks on Dale Avenue on Thursday, there is no need to panic.

The Knoxville Police Department and other agencies plan to conduct a full-scale emergency preparedness at Dow Chemical on Thursday. The drill will simulate a “chemical incident” on Dow’s property. It is not a real emergency, just a drill meant to improve safety.
