Starbucks is set to close several of its stores in San Diego County, ending service at locations that have served loyal customers for years. The closures are part of a wider restructuring across North America.
On Sunday, NBC 7 observed multiple San Diego stores removing equipment and posting notices about the upcoming closures. Customers expressed disappointment at losing nearby coffeehouses.
“I decided to come here because I wanted a coffee, but now that I see they’re closed, I’m kind of bummed out,” said local resident Pierce Seymoure. “I knew Starbucks was closing 100 or 200 stores, but I didn’t expect the one I go to would be on the list.”…
