Sheriff’s deputies respond to pet cremation business to help owners get their animals back

SAN MARCOS, Calif. — Several pet owners confronted the owner of Angel Paws Pet Cremation on Tuesday, demanding the return of their deceased animals after the business closed unexpectedly weeks ago. The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office responded to assist in retrieving the pets from the facility.

“I want his remains back… he’s disrespecting my dog,” said Denise Parker, one of the pet owners who arrived at Angel Paws.

Parker had taken her dog, Murphy Brown, to Angel Paws for cremation in August. She received what she thought were his remains a week later. However, after seeing CBS 8’s exclusive stories about the business, she became suspicious…
