LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Lincoln North Star was placed on Secure Status Wednesday afternoon due to a police investigation happening nearby, but it has since been lifted.
Lincoln Public Schools told 10/11 shortly before 12:48 p.m. that the high school was put into Secure per advice from Lincoln Police. This was lifted shortly after 1:30 p.m., according to Lincoln North Star officials.
Secure means everyone is brought inside the building and the building and entrances are locked and monitored, and teaching and learning, along with movement inside the building, happens as normal…
