MILWAUKEE, Wis. – As the Milwaukee County Transit System attempts to rightsize in the face of a budget shortfall, six bus routes are being recommended for elimination as part of County Executive David Crowley’s proposed 2026 budget.
The cuts include Routes 20, 28, 33, 34, 55 and 58. In addition, service frequency reductions are being proposed for Routes 11, 22, 24, 80 and 88.
