Allen ISD approved a $1.6 million project to replace the fire safety systems at Eagle Stadium on Sept. 22.
The fire suppression sprinkler system and fire alarm system, both installed when the stadium was built in 2012, need replacement due to significant deterioration over the past 13 years.
