Landmarks Society unveils 2025 list of New Orleans’ most endangered sites

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The Landmarks Society of New Orleans on Monday announced its 2025 “Nine Most Endangered” list.

This year’s list highlights both individual properties and broader issues the organization says threaten the city’s character and stability. Among the sites named were the First African Baptist Church and the Eagle Saloon, two historic landmarks in need of protection.
