Two found dead on Bonita Drive identified by El Paso County Coroner’s Office

(EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.) — The El Paso County Coroner’s Office has identified the two people who were found dead after police responded to a disturbance on Bonita Drive on Thursday, Sept. 25, as a man and woman, both 33 years old, according to the Fountain Police Department.

On Thursday at around 11 a.m., officers responded to the 1500 block of Bonita Drive near Fontaine Boulevard and CanAm Highway for a reported 911 call where the emergency communications call taker heard sounds of an active disturbance through the open line.

When police arrived and entered the home, they found a dead man and woman, and two young children who were unharmed.

The El Paso County Coroner’s Office identified the man as 33-year-old Robert Spruill and the woman as 33-year-old Amanda Larribas. FPD said while the coroner’s office will determine the manner and cause of death, Larribas’ death is being investigated as a homicide and Spruill’s death as a suicide…
