CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — We are just over a week away from the annual Riverfront Revival Festival, curated by Darius Rucker. This week, we are previewing with vendor James Brown’s Famous Boiled Peanuts.
Brown tells us how he first started his boiled peanut business after working with Tony, the peanut man, at Charleston RiverDogs games. One day, he saw a pack of peanuts in the grocery store and thought, “I should boil these myself,” Brown explains.
