LEXINGTON, S.C. — A vehicle collision that occurred at the conclusion of a pursuit involving a law enforcement vehicle temporarily closed all lanes of South Lake Drive/SC-6 at Gibson Road near downtown Lexington.
Lexington Police (LPD) reports that a vehicle driven by a Richland County Sheriff’s Department (RCSD) had been in pursuit of a vehicle carrying two teens when the crash occurred around 7 a.m. Wednesday, October 1. LPD was not involved in the pursuit and assisted with traffic flow after the collision.
