DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Dayton Police Department has intensified its enforcement efforts due to an increase in traffic crashes.
Its initial focus will be on increasing enforcement on I-75 and U.S. 35 within city limits. Using crash and traffic complaint data, the DPD will also expand its efforts to additional problem areas as needed.
According to the DPD, property damage crashes are up more than 13 percent in 2025 compared to the same period in 2024.
