BMW issues recall on more than 145,000 vehicles citing fire risk

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration reported that BMW is recalling more than 145,000 vehicles over risk of the starter motor failing and overheating leading to an increased risk of fire.
