Williamsport, Pa. — A slew of people, including an emergency room doctor and a cellphone expert, took the stand on Tuesday in the trial of a man accused of shooting another man in the back nearly a decade ago.
Assistant District Attorney Martin Wade beefed up his case against Dawud Muneer Rogers as he called his final eight witnesses on the second day of trial.
Witnesses included an ER doctor who treated both Rogers and victim William Blackwell after an altercation a week before the murder, several retired or active police officers, a cellphone expert, Blackwell’s former girlfriend, and a person who works for T-Mobile.
