Man suspected of stabbing wife, assaulting child in South Bay arrested

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A man suspected of stabbing his wife and assaulting his child during an argument in Imperial Beach was arrested Tuesday.

Around 10 p.m., a 16-year-old called authorities to report their father had stabbed their mother in the 500 block of 5th Street, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Wednesday.

Authorities say the father, identified as 49-year-old Enos Perez, was allegedly involved in a physical altercation with his wife. He is also suspected of assaulting one of his children before leaving the scene, per SDSO.
