BRANDON, Miss. (WJTV) – Brandon police announced a 25-year-old man was arrested in connection to a series of recent auto burglaries in Brandon and Florence.
In the early morning hours of October 1, 2025, detectives from the Florence Police Department and the Brandon Police Department arrested Kemarius Armstrong, 25, of Pearl.

During the investigation, detectives determined that Armstrong was in possession of multiple items confirmed to have been stolen during the burglaries.
Brandon Police Chief Joseph French said the week-long investigation was a joint effort between both communities and law enforcement agencies. He said the information provided by residents helped identify Armstrong as a suspect.
Armstrong was transported to the Rankin County Jail. He faces multiple charges related to the burglaries. The case remains under investigation…
