LUBBOCK, Texas— Paul Aguilar, 53, was arrested on Wednesday morning on charges of Assault of a Pregnant Person.
According to an affidavit obtained by EverythingLubbock.com on Wednesday, in July of 2022, Lubbock police could hear screaming and yelling coming from the apartment and made contact with the victim, who was close to Aguilar.

The witness reported that the victim was arguing with Aguilar about her neglect of household chores. She also noted she was arguing with Aguilar because he was “sitting at home doing nothing and was unemployed,” according to the affidavit.
