Nevada State Police seek public’s help after robbery on I-80 near Reno

RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — The Nevada State Police are asking for the public’s help with information about a robbery that occurred on I-80 last week.

The Nevada State Police Investigation Division responded to a report of a robbery that occurred on eastbound I-80 at the scenic overlook area just prior to the Patrick off-ramp, between Reno and USA Parkway, around 11:45 a.m. on Sept. 26.

Authorities say the driver of a white Ford Explorer was tending to a flat tire when another man, described as possibly White or Hispanic, approached and offered assistance. The driver declined, and moments later was rendered unconscious…
