The ingredients are there for more showers and storms on Thursday and Friday this week. Like the past few days, the rain will favor areas just to the east of Reno, but models are trending further west giving Reno a chance for rain as well. The location of the low will determine how far west the showers develop. Thunder and lightning is possible too, but it will be isolated. The majority of the rain will fall as just rain, but hail, gusty winds, and localized flash flooding, can not be ruled out either. The atmosphere will be lacking the energy or CAPE values we need to get more storms going.
