Continuing saga of Hannah’s Civil War widow’s pension

Back to the saga of Hannah (Baker) Queen Callahan and her Civil War Widow’s Pension. As mentioned before, Hannah was illiterate. Both she and her second husband Daniel Callahan signed their depositions with an X. She didn’t apply for a pension until 1871, possibly she didn’t know there was such a thing.
