San José Suspects Arrested for Attempted Murder in March Stabbing Incident

The San José Police Department has reported the arrest of two suspects in connection with a violent attack that took place earlier this year, leading to two victims sustaining serious stab wounds. According to official communication from the San José Police Department, the incident occurred on March 7, in which an adult male and an adult female were assaulted near 21st Street and East Santa Clara Street. The victims managed to get themselves to a local hospital, sparking the investigation.

During the assault, it is alleged that one suspect, Francisco Silva, used a box cutter to wound the male victim while the second suspect, Oscar Garcia Gamboa, is accused of stabbing the female victim with a broken bottle. SJPD Assaults Unit Detectives took the lead on the case, securing arrest warrants for Silva and Garcia Gamboa following an intensive probe into the circumstances of that harrowing night.
