Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center recently purchased a building near its hospital campus on South 17th Street in Wilmington for $3 million.
The nearly 10,000-square-foot building at 1994 S. 17th St. formerly housed a local NCWorks Career Center.
“We consistently evaluate opportunities to address future health care needs and invest in property as part of this long-term planning, including the recent land purchase in Wilmington,” Novant spokesperson Julian March wrote in an email to the Business Journal. “At this time, we do not have detailed plans to share about the use of the land but will update the community as details develop.”…
