McKinney coffee lovers will have a new spot to sip this week. Black Rock Coffee Bar is opening its second McKinney location on Oct. 2, at 9701 W University Drive, and the grand opening comes with a perk: free 16-ounce drinks all day.
A Week Of Celebrations
The opening marks the brand’s 12th shop in the Dallas metro area. To celebrate, Black Rock is rolling out daily promotions through Oct. 6:
- Oct. 2: Free 16-ounce drinks
- Oct. 3: Buy-one-get-one drinks
- Oct. 4: Free T-shirt with purchase (while supplies last)
- Oct. 5: 50% off any food item
- Oct. 6: Free mug with purchase (while supplies last)
“We’re thrilled to continue growing in McKinney and to bring the Black Rock experience to even more neighborhoods across the Dallas Metro Area,” said Mark Davis, CEO of Black Rock Coffee Bar, in an official statement. “Each new store represents an opportunity to connect with the community and share our passion for great coffee and exceptional service.”
What’s On The Menu
Black Rock is known for its handcrafted drinks that range from espresso classics to sweet signature creations. Favorites include the caramel blondie, the Mexican mocha with notes of vanilla, almond and cinnamon, and the Jackhammer, a vanilla mocha with an extra double shot.
The menu also features smoothies, teas and the brand’s in-house Fuel energy drink, customizable with more than 20 fruit flavors. For food, guests can grab sweet or savory options, such as the recently launched egg bites.
