The “Rooted In Rhythm” showcase will bring country music talent and community art together Oct. 18 at District 121 in McKinney.
The event runs from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will feature performances from artists including Pynk Beard, Maurice The Music, Amira Unplugged, Elsie, The Kentucky Gentlemen, Valerie Ponzio, Squeezebox Bandits, and Adrian Garza.
Wade College student Olivia Clark is set to create live art during the event. Organizers say the showcase is designed to highlight multiple art forms. Bridgette Jones, executive director of the Millennial Maven Creative Foundation, said, “This event is a true celebration of community and the arts, where we come together to appreciate the varied talents that enrich our lives.”…
