UNL police issue trespass order after stalking incident at residence hall

LINCOLN, Neb. — A member of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Police Department observed a suspicious individual near a UNL residence hall on the city campus early Wednesday morning, Oct. 1, 2025. The individual, who was found inside the residence hall, was determined to be unaffiliated with the university and exhibited behavior towards a UNL student that meets the Clery Act’s definition of stalking.

The suspect is described as a medium-complected male in his mid-30s, bald, with no facial hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black shirt, dark pants, and glasses.
