Man indicted on multiple charges following August police chase

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The driver accused of leading Lubbock police on a chase last month was indicted today by a Lubbock County grand jury.

On Aug. 11, police saw a car believed to be involved in a robbery and attempted to pull it over near 49th St. and Elgin Ave. However, 21-year-old Isiah Montoya-Garza didn’t stop and a pursuit began.

It came to an end when he hit a parked car near 38th St. and Boston Ave. Montoya-Garza and his two passengers were then arrested…
