Man arrested after scooter crash, shoeless foot chase

DENVER (KDVR) — A man was arrested after crashing a scooter and leading a deputy on a foot chase, according to a post on X from the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday.

On Sept. 13, around 11 p.m., a deputy saw a man crash a scooter in the 8800 block of East Florida Avenue.

The deputy approached the man to see if he was okay, but noticed he was acting erratically, and ignored commands to sit on the curb. In bodycam footage released by the sheriff’s office, the man could be seen walking around with shoes in his hands.
