Local driving school owner weighs in on Ohio’s new training requirements

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) — As of Sept. 30, anyone under the age of 21 in Ohio has to complete more driver training requirements before taking the test to get their license. These requirements used to only apply to 16 and 17-year-olds.

Greg Anderson, owner of the local All Star Driving School, weighed in on the changes.

“The crash rates among teenagers skyrocketed at 18-19 years old, from 16 years old. So, it actually proves that driver’s training does work,” Anderson said…
