Winston-Salem man sentenced to life in prison for 2023 murder, Forsyth County DA says

FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — A Winston-Salem man was sentenced to life in prison on Thursday for his involvement in a 2023 murder, according to the Forsyth County district attorney.

On Thursday, William Darius Aikens, Jr., was convicted of first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a felon in the murder of Brandon Deon Patterson.
