Buc-ee’s Ltd. will break ground on a new travel center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, on Oct. 14. Located at Interstate-24 and Joe B Jackson Parkway, Buc-ee’s Murfreesboro will occupy 74,000 square feet and offer 120 fueling positions. It will be Buc-ee’s fourth location in the Volunteer State, with stores open in Crossville and Sevierville and another under construction in Gallaway, expected to be open in the summer of 2026.
The Murfreesboro store will offer Buc-ee’s signature fare such as Texas barbeque, homemade fudge, kolaches, Beaver Nuggets, jerky and fresh pastries, along with other snack, meal and beverage options.
Founded in Texas in 1982, Buc-ee’s operates 54 stores. Since beginning its multi-state expansion in 2019, the Lake Jackson, Texas-based chain has opened travel centers in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, Missouri, Colorado, Mississippi and Virginia. Since 2024, Buc-ee’s has broken ground on its first locations in Ohio, Arkansas and Arizona, as well as additional locations in Georgia, Virginia and Mississippi.
