A Villager was arrested after “hostile behavior” at a local phone store.
Sooksiri Rittirucksa, 73, who lives in the San Miguel Villas, needed help with an app on her cell phone and went at about 5 p.m. Monday to the Verizon store at Lady Lake Crossing on U.S. Hwy. 27/441, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. She was informed that the app was not connected to Verizon and store personnel could not help her.
The native of Thailand was enraged and began “displaying very hostile behavior by continuously shouting,” the report said. She threatened to “kill everybody.” She yelled at employees and caused “a major disturbance.” Rittirucksa used her phone to take videos of the store employees and taunted them by telling them they were “going to be famous.”
A store manager dialed 911 and officers arrived on the scene. Rittirucksa was informed several times that she needed to leave the store. She refused…
