Wood County man accused of fatally stabbing father indicted by grand jury

WOOD COUNTY, Ohio — The man accused of fatally stabbing his father in Wood County earlier this week was indicted Wednesday by a grand jury on alternative counts of murder.

Richard Dannenberger, 36, was arrested Monday night after the sheriff’s office responded to a residence in the 1000 block of Devil’s Hole Road in Troy Township, where authorities found Raymond Dannenberger, 66, outside. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
