The team at RED is ready to share details about a new pop-up launching in the upscale sushi restaurant’s extended event space, which opened last October just down the hall from the main dining room at 316 W. Washington Ave.
Every Wednesday beginning Oct. 8, look for the glowing neon ramen bowl in RED’s window to find Blackjack Ramen. According to Taryn Johnson, operations manager at RED, the pop-up menu will be “small, fun and all about flavor,” including two ramen options: a traditional tonkotsu with pork belly (a dish known for its rich and creamy broth) and a vegan shoyu, which has a soy sauce-based broth.
