LEARN in Lubbock remains open despite federal shutdown

LUBBOCK, Texas –While many federally funded programs across the country are facing closures and uncertainty due to the recent government shutdown, LEARN INC, a local agency in Lubbock says it “barely made the cut” to stay open.

Executive Director Lola Coppage said LEARN received their funding to be able to stay open September 22, 2025.
