Yamhill County offers dog license amnesty program

Is your pooch a felon because his master failed to obtain the proper licensing?

In an effort to avoid being forced to imprison canines and their owners (just kidding), Yamhill County Dog Control has initiated a dog license amnesty program that will forgive dog owners for a previous lack of registration without facing late penalties or past licensing fees.

Through the end of October, the offer is valid only for dog owners who do not have any outstanding citations for failing to license their dog at the time of licensing registration, a release said.
