Students and parents in a north Idaho city are continuing to protest a decision made by administrators of a local high school to suspend three senior football players over a photo that was allegedly uploaded on school grounds.
Post Falls is a city located in Kootenai County, Idaho, 440 miles north of Boise. Numerous community members in this city of 45,000 are up in arms over a recent Post Falls High School decision to suspend, and indefinitely bar three student from all sports, after a photo showing two of the students holding replica firearms and pointing them at a third wearing another area school’s jersey surfaced.
Guns have become a divisive topic in the United States since a dark trend of school shootings began in the late-eighties with a Stockton, California, elementary school making international headlines. School administrators, such as principals and superintendents, have to make tough decisions regarding the safety of faculty and students when any issues of guns on campus occur.
