Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli Separate After Nearly 28 Years of Marriage
Actress Lori Loughlin and her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, have confirmed they are living apart. A representative for Loughlin stated Thursday that while the couple has separated, no legal proceedings have been initiated at this time. The news of their separation was initially reported by People magazine.
Loughlin, widely recognized for her role as Aunt Becky in “Full House” and its sequel “Fuller House,” and Giannulli, founder of the Mossimo clothing brand, have been married for nearly 28 years. They share two daughters, including social media influencer Olivia Jade.
The couple gained significant public attention in 2019 as prominent figures in the “Varsity Blues” college admissions scandal. Both Loughlin and Giannulli pleaded guilty to fraud charges in 2020, admitting to paying $500,000 to secure their daughters’ admission to the University of Southern California as recruits for the rowing team, despite neither daughter having experience in the sport.
Loughlin subsequently served two months in prison, while Giannulli served a five-month sentence. Both daughters withdrew from the university following the scandal.
In addition to her iconic television roles, Loughlin recently appeared in the Prime Video series “On Call.” Reports indicate that the couple listed their Los Angeles home for sale earlier this year in February.
