Gatorade celebrates 60th birthday at Florida home game

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – To celebrate the 60th birthday of Gatorade, UF and brands will commemorate the milestone this weekend.

Some of the celebrations for Florida’s matchup vs. Texas on Saturday include a recreation of Dr.Cade’s iconic lemonade stand, throwback sideline equipment, including retro-inspired coolers, bottles, towels and cups, and throwback Gatorade cans available for purchase at concessions.

Also, the University of Florida Marching Band will perform a special 60th anniversary tribute to Gatorade during halftime.
