Alachua County will host NASA’s International “Observe the Moon Night” on Saturday at the Cuscowilla Nature and Retreat Center in Micanopy.
The event will run from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. at 210 SE 134th Ave. The cost for parking is $5 per vehicle with a maximum of six people per vehicle.
Various activities will be on hand, including a lecture by a UF geologist, a food truck and students from the UF astrophysics and astronomy departments will have several types of telescopes on site to allow visitors to observe the moon…
