18-year-old faces attempted murder charges in vape sale gone wrong, Horry County police say

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — An 18-year-old has been charged with three counts of attempted murder after a vape cartridge sale went wrong, the Horry County Police Department said.

James Anthony Davis Jr., of Longs, is charged with three counts of attempted murder, armed robbery, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

According to an arrest warrant, around 6:57 p.m. on September 22, the victims drove to the 900 block of Pint Circle in the Longs area to sell vape cartridges. When they arrived, Davis and two other unknown co-defendants attempted to rob them at gunpoint…
