YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) – Virginia State Police are seeking information in a fatal Interstate 64 shooting.
State Police were called to investigate the interstate shooting around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 24. A 54-year-old Gloucester resident died at the hospital, after a shooting on Interstate 64 eastbound, between the 242-and 243 mile markers.
State Police are hoping someone will come forward who saw her blue Honda SUV around that time. Investigators are specifically asking anyone who may have seen something unusual, or heard gunshots, in the vicinity of Humelsine Parkway-Marquis Center Parkway or the Busch Gardens area, in either direction of travel.
