MIAMI – Martin County Sheriff’s Office, St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office and Port St. Lucie Police Department were among the seven agencies which worked with the FBI of Miami in “Operation Viper,” resulting in 48 arrests and leading to the seizure of 23 firearms from mid-July through the end of September, FBI officials announced recently.
The FBI-led initiative focused resources to support local law enforcement agencies investigating and arresting the most violent offenders throughout Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie counties.
