VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – According to the Virginia Beach Police Department, Virginia Beach is one of the safest cities in America with a population between 400,000 and 600,000 residents.
Violent crime is down 15% year-to-date compared to 2024, while property crime has seen an 8% decrease.
