ALBANY — The city man accused of stabbing 29-year-old Devin Brevard to death outside a food pantry on Sheridan Avenue last week has pleaded not guilty to murder, weapons possession and evidence tampering charges in Albany County Court.
At his arraignment Friday, prosecutors said Anthony Boyd, 36, made statements to police which were captured on body-worn cameras near where he was arrested on Sept. 25, around 3:20 p.m., on First Street and Lexington Avenue. Assistant District Attorney Marissa Olsen said he made additional statements to police after he was brought to the department’s South Station later that day.
