Two convicted, one awaiting trial, in fatal 2024 shooting at Allentown park

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin Holihan says two men have been convicted for their role in a 2024 homicide at an Allentown park.

Following a weeklong trial that concluded this evening, Grelvis Estevez-Cabrera of Bethlehem was found guilty of criminal homicide, murder of the first degree, conspiracy and related charges. Prosecutors say he faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison without parole. Sentencing is scheduled for November 25.

A second defendant, Carlos Landesta-Agramonte of Allentown, pleaded guilty September 29 to murder of the third degree and conspiracy. He will also be sentenced November 25 and could face a maximum sentence of up to 40 years in prison…
