2 arrested for alleged narcotic sales, illegal gambling at central Bakersfield home

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Two people were arrested after officials allegedly found an illegal gambling table, several narcotics and more at their home in central Bakersfield, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.

On Wednesday, Kern County deputies and probation agents conducted a probation search at a residence in the 2400 block of Cherry Street, according to KCSO. During the search, they found and recovered a stolen motorcycle.

On Friday, deputies from the Kern Valley Substation served a search warrant at the same home, during which they found an illegal gambling table, about 111.2 grams of suspected fentanyl, 17.9 grams of suspected methamphetamine and almost $2,000 in cash believed to be related to illegal gambling and narcotic sales, officials said.
