Man armed with bow arrested after standoff in Evansville, police say

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — A standoff in Evansville on Wednesday evening led to one person being taken into custody.

Evansville police say they were patrolling around 8 p.m. when they heard people screaming in an area of Louisiana Street and Heidelbach Avenue.

Police say they saw 69-year-old Keith Klueh armed with a recurve bow, actively drawing it back while aiming it at a victim.

Officers say they told Klueh to drop the weapon and had him at gunpoint. They say he put it down on his porch after looking at them for a moment…
