Montgomery man charged with shooting into unoccupied building, vehicle

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – A Montgomery man has been arrested after shooting into an unoccupied building and vehicle in late September, according to the Montgomery Police Department.

LaDarren Seawright is charged with two counts of discharging a gun into an unoccupied building/vehicle and one count of criminal mischief.

The incident reportedly happened around 1 a.m. on Sept. 20 in the 1000 block of West South Boulevard.

Court documents state that Seawright can be seen on video surveillance arguing with multiple unknown men, then showing the pistol. While arguing, Seawright is reported to have fired several rounds at the men. The bullets struck a business and a vehicle, neither of which was occupied…
