All of Tallahassee’s bars are great, but bustling nightlife might not be for everyone. If you’re one of those people, there might be another place for you. Just on the outskirts of college town, located on East Gaines Street, a cozy bar resides: The Warhorse Whiskey Bar.
Recognizable by its eccentric drip-font sign, Warhorse is a brick building attached to Gaines Street Pies. Opened in July 2015, the two establishments are partnered with one another, both easily accessible by walking through a large connecting doorway inside. If you order a pizza from Gaines Street Pies, they will bring it over to you if you are grabbing a drink at the bar in Warhorse.
“I think what really appeals to our regulars is that Warhorse is an approachable bar.
