WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A man is facing multiple felony charges after leading Wilmington Police Department (WPD) officers on a foot chase near South 10th Street.
On Oct. 2, 26-year-old Jazarion Vaughn was seen concealing his identity with a ski mask by WPD officers. According to WPD, when the officers tried to approach Vaughn, he ran away.
WPD states Vaughn was arrested shortly after officers set up a perimeter search, during which they found Vaughn in possession of crack cocaine that he allegedly tried to conceal and ingest during the arrest. During the search, officers also recovered a firearm, according to WPD…
